Kevin Daniels is a licensed clinical social worker, trauma therapist, and Practice Director of Open Minds Therapy, LLC. With over seven years of experience in the mental health field, Kevin works with trauma survivors, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, first responders, veterans, and people navigating substance use, recovery, and identity-related stress. At the core of his work is a belief that healing becomes possible when safety, dignity, and agency are restored.
Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University and a Master of Social Work from Delaware State University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Social Work. His advanced clinical training includes EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, EFT Tapping, sex-informed therapy, and somatic-based interventions. He is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist through the International Trauma Institute and holds distinguished credentials from the National Association of Social Workers as both an Academy of Certified Social Worker and a Qualified Clinical Social Worker.
Kevin’s clinical orientation is integrative, trauma-informed, and depth-oriented. His work is grounded in attachment theory, nervous system regulation, relational safety, and an understanding of how the unconscious organizes experience through sensation, imagery, and meaning. Rather than forcing clients into rigid models or timelines, Kevin tailors therapy to the individual, honoring pace, choice, and collaboration. He supports clients in moving beyond survival-based adaptations toward greater self-trust, connection, and psychological integration.
His approach is also informed by lived experience. Growing up in an environment shaped by instability and trauma, Kevin understands what it means to grow up too fast and to carry experiences the body does not forget. As a gay man of Lebanese heritage, he brings a culturally responsive, identity-affirming lens to his work, with particular sensitivity to generational trauma, shame, and silence.
In addition to his clinical practice, Kevin is a writer exploring themes of trauma, recovery, and generational healing. He approaches therapy with a simple but deeply held truth: people do not need to be fixed. They need to be seen, heard, and supported in reclaiming their voice and wholeness.
“Healing does not mean forgetting what happened. It means learning how to live fully without having to survive anymore.”

Jillian Wiggins, LPC, NCC grew up in New Jersey with a heart full of questions and limited support to help her make sense of them. Like many adolescents, she struggled. Unlike many, she made an early decision that one day she would become the person she needed during that time. That choice quietly shaped the course of her life.
Jillian began her academic journey at Delaware Technical Community College, earning an AAS in Human Services. She went on to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Wilmington University, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
Today, Jillian is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, depression, grief, and life transitions. She is trained in grief therapy and integrates nervous system–regulating techniques into her work, helping clients build safety, stability, and emotional resilience. Her approach is warm, practical, and deeply relational, grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a strong belief in each client’s capacity for growth and change.
For Jillian, therapy is more than a profession, it is a calling. Each time a client reconnects with their strength, processes loss, or rediscovers a part of themselves they thought was gone, she is reminded why she began this journey. The hope, resilience, and healing she witnesses continue to inspire her to show up with open ears, an open heart, and steady faith in what is possible.
“The work is not about fixing what is broken, but about helping people remember who they have always been.”

Dennis is an authentic and nonjudgmental clinician, as well as the co-founder and Practice Director of Open Minds Therapy, LLC. Having lived much of his life loving people impacted by addiction, Dennis developed a deep understanding of the complexity, pain, and humanity that surround substance use. Those experiences shaped his passion for teaching, counseling, and advocating for individuals and families navigating addiction and recovery.
Inspired by his husband’s gift for helping others, Dennis encouraged the creation of Open Minds Therapy and now leads the practice’s day-to-day operations, community partnerships, and client care coordination. As Practice Director, he works behind the scenes to ensure the practice runs with integrity, accessibility, and heart, playing a central role in its growth and success.
Dennis’s clinical focus includes trauma recovery, substance use, and life transitions. He believes deeply in people and their capacity for change. He often sees strengths clients cannot yet recognize in themselves and supports them in discovering those strengths at their own pace. Dennis honors clients as the experts of their own stories and emphasizes practical skills, compassion, and collaboration in the therapeutic process.
He is committed to culturally responsive care and to increasing access to quality mental health services for underserved communities. Dennis holds a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). He is eligible to sit for his LCSW in 2027.
“Everyone deserves care that sees their humanity before their history.”
